About our Duchy

The Empire of Medieval Pursuits is a non-profit organization consisting of several fiefdoms across the country. The Duchy of Stormhold is within the Kingdom of Ardesca, housing several of the EMP fiefdoms working together. Our chapters span the Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom, and Island Counties of Washington State, with outlying chapters also in Western Idaho. Our mission is to preserve and promote the history, culture, and traditions of medieval times through various educational and recreational activities. Our dedicated team of volunteers and members work tirelessly to create an immersive and inclusive experience for all who participate in our events and programs.
